Obvara

A fast-paced 12th-century Eastern European technique where hot pottery is dipped into a fermented flour-and-yeast liquid, creating rich, unpredictable, eye-like patterns and earthy textures.

Feather & Hair

A delicate, smoke-infusing technique where organic materials—like hair or bird feathers—are laid directly onto hot pottery. The heat instantly vaporizes them, leaving striking black carbon lines.
